Interview with Fiber Arts Center of the Eastern Shore
In March, I sat down with Kathleen McCulloch of the Fiber Arts Center of the Eastern Shore (FACES) to talk about my collage journey. FACES is located in Denton, Maryland and is a leading community for fiber art and artists in the region. FACES was recently featured in Quiltfolk magazine’s Maryland edition released in 2022.
I was honored to work with FACES and Kathleen again and be featured in this interview series as my fiber (paper) is less commonly found in fiber arts spaces. Previously, in 2020, I curated a Black fiber artists exhibit, Connecting Kuumba Through Community, at FACES with Kathleen’s assistance. Photos of the exhibit are shared below.
