Desk Tour | What's in my Workspace?

What does your workspace look like? I don’t know why, but I just had the urge to take a photo of my desk. It’s not as clean as could it be, but the arrangement and colors just seemed perfectly imperfect. A few tips I share in #mindfulsimplicity about maintaining your workspace are: 1. Cleaning your desk off at the end of the work day. Arriving to a clean workspace makes me feel hopeful and productive. (👎🏾Fail because I’ve been tired.) 2. Write your to-do list for the next day. No more wondering what needs to be done in the mornings. (✅ This is the one thing I do without fail.) 3. Block your time to work on specific projects. Blocking helps me focus and get shit done. (✅ I set aside 2 hrs to work on a temp project, but I received an email saying we we’re finished 🙌🏽, so I’m going to shoot a short YouTube video for tomorrow’s upload instead.) …I decided to film a full workspace tour. My desk is definitely not the perfect minimalist setup, but it’s been working for the past year or so. I will likely be making a few changes in 2020, but I wanted to capture the moment because I’ve created so many great things in this workspace this year. In addition to showing you my work area, I also share a few tips for maintaining your workspace and productivity. Enjoy!
